About Us

THAI CRAFT started in 2005, and is run by myself, and partner Bayan from Thailand. Bayans passion for handmade goods sowed the seed for its creation.

Initially we started trading at local craft and country fairs. As sales increased, our reputation for supplying quality goods grew with many customers ordering by telephone. Recently we decided to concentrate our efforts on internet sales, and no longer attend craft and country fairs.

THAI CRAFT pressently supply's high quality handmade ceramic and mango wood products. These products are imported from Chiang Mai, in northern Thailand, the heart of the countries craft industry. Unlike other supplers we visit Thailand regularly to see our current suppliers, and check out possible future ones.

To date we have built good working relationships with suppliers of ceramic and mango wood vases. During 2010 we will actively be seeking suppliers for handmade reclaimed teak wood carvings, and silk products.

To compliment these products we also offer a range of Thai craft material for making traditional artificial flowers. Completed flowers arrangements can be made to order, please contact us for details.

We also work closely with our sister organisation METAL ART UK, who supply scrap metal sculptures made by our friend Mai Sudjai based in Bangkok. His sculptures are available from our online store.
